musicians are only considered over-rated when their music is NOT understood or appreciated.....appreciate others with talents beyond your own, don't try to bring them down....

@SomethingAwesome19XX some artists are good because of their incredible voice, others because of their guitar skills, some have both, Some artists can write terrific songs and become famous because of that, some artists can't sing that well, but they can still bring their music over to their audiance, because of their musical nature. Bob dylan is an amazing artist! He wrote beautiful songs and sang them with whole his soul, maybe off-key here and there, but that doesn't matter at all..

@JamonjiCahillibongo Oh right. What i'm wondering is whether he's replaced them with a new band or he's just not uing anyone anymore?

@JamonjiCahillibongo ...and of course they do the Trio stuff...which he hasn't done in a while.

I don't care this is probably one of THE greatest, most awe inspiring and beautiful live performances of all time and DEFINITELY one of John's best. U can just FEEL the bond between the members.. EXACTLY as the record intends but with SUBTLE improvements....not much that U could distinguish between record and performance but still different and that is unbelievably...UNBELIEVABLY hard to do!!!.
I have just woke up...put this on and ALREADY i'm having a great day!!! I owe John Mayer SO much!!!

@DrBIues ...JJ no longer plays with him, nor does Dela, neither do the horns and neither does Ricky Perterson or Tim Bradshaw...all of the guys from the golden era, the continuum/where the light is/right up to 08/09 era...the GOOD line up.
Thankfully though he HAS gotten rid of those STUPID f-ing backing singers he had up until recently.
He needs to get 'the band' back.
Steve and Pino, yeah they mainly do his studio stuff...ocassionally Steve will do a live/promo stint....
